Software built for the way your operation works

When a standard product does not fit, LIOMO designs and builds the software you need, from device integration to dashboards and apps, and can stay on to run, support and extend it.

Availability

Engagement-based

Scoped with you, from a short discovery phase through design and delivery to long-term support and development.

The problem

When off-the-shelf stops fitting

Standard software covers common needs. Physical operations often involve devices, processes and data that no product was designed for, and the gaps get filled with spreadsheets and workarounds.
  • 01

    Devices that do not talk

Equipment, sensors and controllers use their own protocols, and the software you have cannot read them.

  • 02

    Data in separate places

Operational data sits in separate systems and exports, so reports are assembled by hand and are out of date when they arrive.

  • 03

    Workarounds as process

Spreadsheets, paper forms and chat groups fill the gaps, and the knowledge of how things work stays with a few people.

  • 04

    Products that almost fit

Licensed software covers most of the need, but the missing part is the one that matters, and it is not on the vendor roadmap.

The solution

Engineering from the device to the dashboard

LIOMO builds software across the whole chain, from the protocol a device speaks to the screen a manager uses, with the same engineering practices we apply to our own platform.
  • Web platforms and dashboards with role-based access.
  • Mobile apps for field teams, drivers and operators.
  • Device gateways and firmware integration for sensors, trackers and controllers.
  • APIs and data pipelines that connect new and existing systems.
  • Hosting, support and further development after launch.

How it works

How a LIOMO custom system works

Every LIOMO system follows the same four stages. In custom work, they look like this.
  1. 01

    Connect

We integrate the devices and systems you have, building gateway services for their protocols or connecting to existing software through its APIs and databases.

  2. 02

    Collect

Data pipelines receive, validate and store every message in a structured data layer, designed to keep records complete when devices drop offline and reconnect.

  3. 03

    Understand

Business rules, calculations and reports turn raw data into the views each role needs, from a live operations screen to a monthly summary.

  4. 04

    Act

Alerts, workflows, remote commands and integrations put the results to work, with permissions, logging and safety checks where actions affect equipment in the field.

Capabilities

What an engagement can include

What a LIOMO engineering engagement can cover, from discovery to long-term support.
  • 01

    Discovery and specification

Workshops, process mapping and a written scope, so priorities and acceptance criteria are agreed before building starts.

  • 02

    Web platforms and dashboards

Browser-based applications with role-based access, live views, reports and exports.

  • 03

    Mobile apps

Apps for field staff, drivers and operators, including offline use where coverage is unreliable.

  • 04

    Device gateways and firmware

Services that decode device protocols over TCP, UDP or MQTT, and integration with device firmware and configuration.

  • 05

    APIs

Documented REST APIs that let your other systems, suppliers and customers read and write data with controlled access.

  • 06

    Data pipelines and storage

Ingestion, validation, storage and processing of time-series and transactional data, designed for the volumes your devices produce.

  • 07

    Systems integration

Connections between field data and ERP, accounting, maintenance, warehouse and other business systems.

  • 08

    Hosting and operations

Deployment, monitoring, backups and updates, so the software keeps running reliably after launch.

  • 09

    Support and development

Fixes and improvements under an agreed support arrangement, as your operation and requirements change.

Use cases

Where it fits

Custom engineering suits needs that are specific to your operation and important enough to deserve their own software.
  • Connecting unusual equipment

Read data from machines, sensors or controllers with their own protocols and bring it into one system.

  • Replacing spreadsheets and paper

Turn a process run on spreadsheets and forms into an application with roles, records and an activity log.

  • Extending existing software

Add the module, integration or report your current software lacks, connected through its API or database.

  • A platform for your customers

Turn an internal tool or a connected device into a platform you can offer to your own customers.

Business value

What it changes for the business

The aim is software that fits the operation, not an operation bent around the software.
  • 01

    A fit for your process

The system follows the way your teams work, with the roles, rules and reports you actually need.

  • 02

    One source of truth

Data from devices and business systems lands in one place, so reports come from records, not exports.

  • 03

    Priorities you set

The roadmap follows your operational needs rather than a vendor release plan.

  • 04

    A team that stays

The engineers who build the system can run, support and extend it as your needs change.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

Has LIOMO built production software before?

Yes. LIOMO designs, builds and operates its own fleet platform, LIOMO Fleet. It includes a device gateway that decodes tracker protocols over TCP, a PostgreSQL data layer, a web platform with role-based access, and remote commands with safety checks. Custom work follows the same engineering approach.

How does an engagement start?

With a short discovery phase: we map the process, the devices and systems involved and the outcome you need, and agree a written scope. From there, a typical sequence is design, delivery in stages with regular reviews, launch, then support and further development.

How is the cost determined?

It depends on the scope, the number of devices and systems to integrate, and the level of support you need after launch. Discovery defines the scope first, so that an estimate is based on agreed requirements rather than assumptions.

Can you work with our existing systems and team?

Yes. Most engagements connect to software you already use, through its APIs, databases or file exchange, and we can work alongside your internal IT or engineering team.

What happens after launch?

Software in daily use needs monitoring, updates and change. LIOMO can host and operate the system, fix issues and develop it further under an agreed support arrangement.
